By Invitation only. Suppliers can only participate in the PS Index platform on invitation from either an architect/sub-consultant or contractor/sub-contractor and for a nominated project. You will be asked to register on the PS Index website after which you will receive a Username and Password.
On registering you will be instructed to upload data for products that are relevant to those projects. There is no limit to the number of products uploaded by any supplier.
Using state-of-the-art computer software PS INDEX will assess each and every product for sustainability compliance. This assessment process need only occur once for each product unless the product specifications change or the same product is requested again by another project pursuing a different sustainability code. There is no charge to the supplier for this assessment.
Product data will be stored indefinitely in the PS Index product database.
Each product uploaded will be given its own dedicated screen
containing key sustainability compliance information together with all supporting technical documents needed for final authority submissions.
Available online to any architect or contractor in the region, the following data will be displayed for each product:
Supplier information including trade license copy.
Product name and description.
Key specifications as determined necessary by PSINDEX.
Sustainability Compliance statements for each applicable credit number stating how and where the product may be used.
Building typologies applicable to this compliance.
Copies of all product related supporting documents required for authority submissions.
Separate QR Code for each product allowing external users to view the above information (excluding supporting documents) on their Smartphone.
Architects and sub-consultants can search all products via the eFile where compliance statements will be automatically filtered to relate specifically to the target credits for their project.
Suppliers may receive multiple invitations over various projects and products remain in the database ready for viewing on all future projects.
Architects or contractors viewing this data can have their selections auto-assessed for their own particular project sustainability rating.
If a product is shortlisted by an architect a QR link to the product via the PS Index database will be included in the tender documents provided to contractors as a suggested product.
All negotiations are conducted directly between the supplier and the contractor if a product is shortlisted by a contractor then
Zero risk – pay only on results. The cost of product compliance assessments is free. The cost of maintaining all product data in the database and making product screens available to end-users on all registered projects is covered by PS Index and suppliers will only be charged a small contribution when a product is sold. This fee is fixed regardless of the quantity purchased in a project and applies to all projects which are registered with the PS INDEX system.
